Tasks:
- Manual testing (~60%): functional, UI/UX, and integration testing of web applications (Frontend) and APIs (Backend).
- Regression and smoke testing of builds before releases.
- Defect localization: analysis of server and client-side logs, root cause analysis.
- Interaction with development during requirements clarification.
- Maintaining bug reports in Jira, monitoring their lifecycle.
- Development and updating of test cases and checklists in Zephyr, linking them to Jira tasks.
- Test automation (~40%): design, development, and support of E2E autotests (UI, API).
- Automation of new features according to team-adopted practices.
- Refactoring and optimization of existing autotests.
- Development of Page Object Model (POM), creation of custom steps and helpers.
- Integration of autotests into CI/CD (Jenkins).
- Test run analysis: working with Allure TestOps reports, localizing reasons for failures (test / infrastructure / product).
Requirements:
- QA Engineer work experience of 2–3 years.
- Java proficiency for confident business logic implementation (OOP, collections, Stream API, exceptions).
- Understanding of testing theory: types and levels of testing, equivalence classes, boundary values, test design techniques.
- Deep experience in manual testing of web applications: DevTools, sniffers (Charles/Fiddler), understanding of HTTP/HTTPS statuses.
- Understanding of autotest architecture (Page Object Model).
- Skill in localizing frontend defects (JS errors, incorrect API responses in Network) and backend defects (server log analysis).
- Confident work with Jira: tasks, bug reports, filters, Scrum/Kanban boards, task relationships.
