About the product
The "Secondary Real Estate" team is responsible for everything related to secondary housing and is divided into two areas:
- The Sellers team is responsible for developing tools for private sellers, realtors, and agencies.
- The Monetization team develops Cyan's key monetization products: Auction, Packages and Subscriptions, Billing, and Monetization Efficiency - and is responsible for ensuring that every decision is based on proven effect.
And now we are looking for a Team Lead for Product Analytics for the Monetization team.
About the team
The monetization analytics team consists of 5 middle/senior product analysts. The team has many tasks involving hypotheses and research, a strong school of experiments, and direct influence on the development of monetization products.
Tasks to be solved
- Domain analytics result management: responsible for achieving analytical KR/OKR for the direction, quality and delivery times of value; shortens the "question -> insight -> solution" cycle, maintains SLA and manages "rollouts".
- Business partnership and discovery: initiates research on growth/inefficiency points, forms and defends recommendations, ensures data-driven decision-making by product/business. Goal setting and planning: leads quarterly planning, prioritization, capacity and dependency management, communicates the roadmap/risks to stakeholders.
- People and team: regular 1:1s, individual development plans, feedback; competency development, delegation and growth of independence; hiring/onboarding; performance reviews/calibrations; management of engagement and burnout risks.
- Technological culture: implements standards (code/methodology reviews, A/B and reporting standards, analysis templates), manages analytical technical debt, develops self-service and data infrastructure in conjunction with DE/platform; responsible for the reliability of data marts/dashboards (SLO, monitoring, postmortem).
- Personal contribution (20-30% of time): participation in the most complex applied tasks (experimentation methodology/causal, complex SQL/Python, metrics/data mart design), mentoring and review of key artifacts.
Our future colleague
- Has a higher education (technical / mathematical / economic). Preferred majors: applied mathematics, computer science, statistics, economic cybernetics, business informatics, information technology.
- Has product analytics experience of 3+ years + experience in managing analytical teams of 1+ year: goal setting/OKR, quarterly planning, prioritization/capacity management, risk and deadline management; hiring/onboarding, people development, organizational design and bus factor;
- Understands the P&L/unit economics of the domain, can challenge hypotheses, translates direction strategies into analytical initiatives with measurable impact;
- Possesses strong technical expertise: confident SQL (window functions/CTE/optimization), Python for analysis (pandas/numpy/scipy), statistics and experiments (power/MDE, stratification/CUPED, basic causal approaches), BI+DWH/OLAP, standards for visualization/documentation/reviews; experience in implementing data quality practices and analytics standardization.

Interview stages
- General introductory call with a recruiter for about 30 minutes;
- Technical session for 1 hour with a lead/senior: (about Python, SQL, a/b, math. stats);
- Product session for 1 hour with the head of vertical product analytics;
- Final meeting with HR BP. It is very important for us to hire a person with whom we share values. We are not willing to compromise here, even with candidates with suitable skills and experience.
