System Architect for the Department

Vacancy: System Architect for the Department (bank) Company: Selecty (Recruitment Agency) Format: remote from RF 📍 Employment: full-time Salary: 💸350–380k net (only according to TK) We are looking for an experienced system architect who will be responsible for designing the architecture of new systems and developing existing solutions. The role will involve making key architectural decisions, defining system structure and component interaction, working through integrations, data, and infrastructure, as well as participating in the development of departmental architectural standards.

Designing the architecture of new systems from scratch and developing the architecture of existing solutions Defining the architectural approach, system structure, components, services, and their areas of responsibility Designing integration architecture and interaction between modules and systems Defining data storage, transmission, and processing architecture Selecting technologies, infrastructure, and technical solutions Designing solutions considering load, scalability, fault tolerance, security, and operating costs Working through and ensuring the fulfillment of non-functional requirements Formulating and documenting architectural decisions and constraints (ADR) Conducting technical and architectural reviews Assessing architectural risks and technical debt, formulating proposals for their elimination Collaborating with system analysts, Tech Leads, DevOps/Data Engineers, and developers Developing architectural standards, patterns, and design principles within the team and platform

📊 Requirements:

System/Solution Architect experience of 3+ years Experience in designing complex information systems from scratch and developing existing solutions Deep understanding of distributed and high-load system architecture Experience in decomposing systems into components and services, defining their responsibilities and boundaries Deep understanding of microservices, event-driven, and service-oriented architecture Understanding the applicability of various architectural approaches and the ability to choose the optimal one Experience designing integrations: REST API, Kafka, synchronous and asynchronous interactions Understanding the principles of building fault-tolerant, scalable, and high-performance systems Experience designing data architecture: storage and processing methods, data flow design Good understanding of various database types: RDBMS, column-oriented, NoSQL Experience with Kubernetes, understanding containerization, deployment, scaling, and HA Understanding CI/CD, observability, monitoring, logging, tracing Experience with NFRs: performance, SLA/SLO, availability, scalability, RTO/RPO, security Understanding information security principles: authentication/authorization, secrets, network security, service-to-service interaction Ability to perform capacity planning/sizing and estimate system infrastructure requirements Proficiency in architectural notations: C4, UML, Component/Deployment/Sequence diagrams Ability to argue and defend architectural solutions, evaluate alternatives and trade-offs Experience conducting architecture reviews and technical audits of solutions
