Data Engineer (DevEx)

We are the shared tools and processes team of the Search Services and AI business group. Our group includes the company's key products: Alisa, Search, Advertising, and other services. We operate as a horizontal platform and create tools, technologies, and processes used by all product teams.

Currently, we are developing the DevEx (Developer Experience) direction — building data infrastructure to measure and improve engineering processes across the entire business group.

We are looking for a Data Engineer who will help build a reliable analytics layer on top of data from engineering systems: repositories, code review, CI/CD, task trackers, and other sources. Based on this data, metrics are formed that are used for strategic decisions and improving development processes.

What tasks await you

Data pipeline development Design and implement data pipelines for acquiring, processing, and updating data from engineering systems.

Building an analytical data warehouse (DWH) Design and develop a DWH for DevEx analytics, ensuring data quality and consistency.

Supporting data marts and dashboards Develop and maintain analytical data marts and dashboards for teams and managers.

We expect you to

• Have more than three years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or related roles
• Have a confident command of Python and SQL and write production code
• Have experience working with data pipelines and data warehouses
• Be attentive to data quality and implementation details
• Be able to work with related teams and understand their data needs
