Excorp is a developer of a training service for CS2, creating modern gaming backend solutions.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain backend functionality on Node.js.
- Work with product logic: subscriptions, payments, Battle Pass, and in-game economy.
- Integrate external APIs and partner services.
- Support asynchronous processes and event-driven interactions via Kafka and WebSocket.
- Work with MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Participate in API design and reducing technical debt in the existing monolith.
Requirements
- Commercial backend development experience with Node.js for at least 4 years.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript and experience with Koa or similar frameworks.
- Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Understanding of asynchronous architecture and event-driven approach.
- Experience with Kafka, WebSocket, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Skills in API design and supporting production systems.
Good to have
- Experience in gaming, esports, or marketplace products.
- Understanding of game economy and monetization mechanics.
- Experience with payment systems and Steam API.
- Experience in refactoring legacy systems and implementing observability approaches.
