We are looking for a Tech Lead who will be responsible for the product's technical direction and the development team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a cross-functional team of backend/frontend developers: task assignment, 1-on-1s, feedback, specialist development.
- Be responsible for product architecture and key technical decisions.
- Lead the technical update of the existing infrastructure without stopping the product and maintaining backward compatibility.
- Work with high-load and distributed systems: PostgreSQL, Redis, queues, idempotency, Saga/Outbox, consistency, migrating large volumes of data without downtime.
- Participate in hiring and technical interviews.
- Analyze incidents and drive postmortems to systemic changes.
- If necessary, contribute to development in complex or critical areas.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial development of complex projects in Node.js / TypeScript, including 2+ years of production experience with NestJS.
- Experience in independently making architectural decisions and leading technical projects as a Tech Lead.
- Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience working with databases under high load.
- Practical experience with distributed systems and high-load.
- Understanding of frontend architecture, SSR, and API contracts.
- Product mindset.
Will be a plus:
- Vue 3 / Nuxt.
- Kubernetes and observability.
- Experience with long-term technical migrations and legacy modernization.
- Engineering metrics and working with AI tools in development.
