ТОО Fourmi LAB (Almaty) is looking for a Functional Analyst/Business Analyst.

Project:

Passenger transportation project

Key Tasks: • Clarity and completeness of requirements • Documentation and systems thinking • Structuring processes and flows • Support for development based on specifications

Key Responsibilities • Collection, structuring, and documentation of business and functional requirements; creation of detailed functional specifications with a high degree of accuracy (validation rules, state transitions, error handling, input/output contracts). • Mapping of "as-is" and "to-be" user flows; identifying gaps, edge cases, and dependencies to ensure requirement completeness. • Maintaining structured documentation (Confluence, specifications, diagrams) and ensuring traceability of requirements and solutions. • Facilitating alignment between teams by clarifying scope, resolving ambiguities, and supporting communication between product and engineering stakeholders. • Defining and maintaining acceptance test scenarios and expected behavior; participating in testing and user acceptance testing to confirm implementation meets requirements. • Proactively identifying risks, inconsistencies, and gaps in requirements; escalating and facilitating their resolution.

Required Qualifications • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Systems Analyst in a technical product environment. • Experience with products requiring intensive integration. • Ability to read and analyze technical documentation, sequence diagrams, and architectural specifications. • Knowledge of mobile application ecosystems. • Exceptional ability to write accurate, structured, and unambiguous specifications and functional documentation. • Experience with flow mapping and process modeling (BPMN, UML, or equivalent notations). • Experience defining acceptance criteria and participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Proficiency with documentation and collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira, or similar). • Strong communication skills — ability to bridge product and engineering departments, clarify ambiguities, and support team alignment. • Knowledge of Agile development principles (discovery, refinement, decomposition, sprint planning).

• Knowledge of tools for transferring design solutions (Figma).

Desirable: • Experience in a Product Owner role. • Systems analysis experience: creating technical specifications, documenting APIs, data flows, and system interaction scenarios. • Experience with Identity Management systems and SSO solutions. • Experience documenting payment system integration processes. • Knowledge of AI-powered productivity tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for documentation, analysis, or requirements processing workflows.

Location: anywhere except Russia and Ukraine, Belarus via VPN Languages: Conversational English, B2 and above
