Responsibilities
- Manage the backend team: hiring, onboarding, conducting 1-on-1s and performance reviews.
- Plan backend work for the quarter and monitor task completion deadlines.
- Develop service architecture and design new functionalities.
- Control technical quality through code reviews and implementation of development standards.
- Develop the observability stack and improve the overall reliability and stability of systems.
- Participate in production incident analysis and postmortems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Python (FastAPI) development.
- At least 2 years of experience in a management position.
- Proficient in PostgreSQL and message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Understanding of the observability stack (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and service operation principles.
- Strong general engineering foundation (networks, databases, security basics).
Good to have
- Experience with high-load systems.
- Knowledge of Redis, ClickHouse, OpenSearch.
- Experience building CI/CD processes and working with Helm/Argo CD.
- Experience working with the Unified State Services Portal/Unified Identification System (ESIA).
