Head of Backend

We are looking for a Head of Backend to develop an engineering ecosystem to improve the quality of Engineering Experience. We are a fintech company, creating over 60 services for businesses.

📍 From 700,000 ₽ before tax, remote work worldwide.

You can work your own way here and truly influence the system and tech stack. No one will impose methods or control every action.

You are a good fit if you have experience:

• In Backend development for at least three years at the system architect level in Java, Python, Go, Rust, or C#.
• In managing at least two full-cycle development teams of 15 or more people for at least two years.
• In developing and implementing common Backend tools and processes, influencing 100 or more developers.
• Working with team metrics and making data-driven decisions.
• In managing projects with the involvement of participants from other teams.

Also, you don't mind business trips to Yekaterinburg and Moscow.

What else is good:

• Developers are not just coders, but engineers. They not only write code but also think about the business, features, infrastructure, and tech stack. Infrastructure specialists help, but don't do everything for the developers.
• Any engineer can come up with and launch their own project. You don't need to change your grade for this — the main thing is to prove its benefit to the business.
• Flexible approach to development. Product teams develop their products as they see fit and make decisions about the tech stack themselves, based on the task.
