🔹Responsibilities:
- Independently manage end-to-end architectural projects: from analyzing business tasks and gathering requirements to designing, defending the solution, overseeing implementation, and controlling the outcome.
- Design target architecture for solutions in the data, analytics, integrations, and AI/ML infrastructure domains, considering the stack: GitLab, ArgoCD, k8s, PostgreSQL, Trino, Iceberg, S3, ClickHouse, Superset, DBT, Open Metadata, Dagster, Debezium, vLLM, Ollama, Langfuse, and others.
- Analyze existing systems, business processes, data flows, and integrations; identify limitations, risks, technical debt, and propose development options, including migrations and decommissioning of legacy solutions.
- Prepare and defend architectural documentation: C4 diagrams, ADRs, HLD/LLD, integration schemes, data models, flow descriptions, and non-functional requirements.
- Monitor the implementation's compliance with the target architecture, engineering standards, security, reliability, and scalability requirements; assist teams in making technical decisions and resolving blockers.
🔹Required Technical Skills:
- Experience as a Solution Architect / System Architect / Data Architect / Lead Engineer with independent management of technical initiatives or projects.
- Ability to translate business requirements into architectural solutions, decompose ambiguous tasks, and break them down into a clear implementation plan.
- Practical experience in designing application, integration, or data solutions at the context and component architecture level, preferably using the C4 model.
- Good understanding of data platform approaches: DWH/lakehouse, ELT/ETL, batch/streaming, CDC, data marts, metadata, data quality, lineage, and observability.
- Technological awareness and confident understanding of key technologies: SQL, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Trino, Iceberg, Parquet, S3, k8s, GitOps/CI/CD, orchestration, DBT, Open Metadata; experience with AI/LLMOps tools will be a plus.
