The CI/CD R&D team develops and supports CI/CD tools for all of Wildberries.
Our goal: to create user-friendly and reliable tools that reduce developers' time costs and are used throughout the company, adhering to information security principles and DevOps best practices.
You will be able to work in one of the team's directions - Pipelines and Automation.
In the Pipelines direction, you will:
- Develop and support universal Gitlab CI templates for building, testing, and deploying company projects (deploy to VM via Ansible, to Kubernetes via Helm and ArgoCD);
- Create and maintain Helm charts for various services;
- Develop optimized Dockerfiles in compliance with best practices;
- Conduct research in the field of CI/CD, prepare PoC and MVP of new solutions;
- Write CLI utilities and automation scripts in Python/Golang/Bash.
In the Automation direction, you will:
- Develop and support a CLI tool for automating corporate CMDB (Python, Ansible, and Gitlab CI);
- Develop and support a CLI tool for automating access requests to Hashicorp Vault and Harbor (Python, Ansible, Gitlab CI);
- Develop solutions for automated creation of test databases in Kubernetes (Golang).
We are looking for you if:
- You have a solid IT/DevOps foundation (Linux, networks, containerization, troubleshooting);
- You understand and can write complex Bash scripts with advanced logic, and have a basic+ level of Python;
- You know how GitLab and its runners work, have written many different pipelines and can talk about it interestingly;
- Kubernetes is not new to you, you understand the core concepts, have deployed applications using Helm, and written your own charts;
- You are proficient with Ansible, have experience writing playbooks and roles;
- You know how to write Dockerfiles considering best practices, making them secure and minimalistic;
- You have extensive experience with Git, understand different development workflows (Git Flow, TBD);
- You are independent, engaged, and proactive.
Will be a plus:
- Confident proficiency in Python and/or Golang;
- Advanced experience with Gitlab CI - working with dynamic pipelines (jsonnet, Python), creating a system of universal templates with centralized support;
- Excellent understanding of the difference between Pull/Push models for application deployment, experience with ArgoCD or other operators in k8s;
- Good understanding of the role and security policy model in Kubernetes and Hashicorp Vault;
- Responsible use of LLMs - understanding how to write prompts, design solution architecture, and verify results.
