What you will be doing:

Technical Leadership:

• Active participation in architecture design (microservice architecture, highload);
• Involvement in the team's technical decisions: code reviews, technical debt, architectural committees;
• Responsibility for quality and stability: CI/CD, monitoring, incidents, code quality.

Building the Development Cycle:

• Organizing the development cycle: choosing methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), regular activities (stand-ups, retrospectives, demos);
• Planning resources and workload: from quarterly goals to sprint tasks;
• Decomposing initiatives, controlling deadlines and task completion quality;
• Interaction with product, analysts, and other teams — from discovery to delivery.

People Management:

• Participation in interviews, including profile creation for candidates;
• Onboarding new employees;
• Working with engineer development: setting individual development plans, regular feedback, career paths.

What we expect:

• Experience in product backend development before transitioning to a team lead position (Go will be an advantage);
• 2+ years of managing a development team: task assignment, development, motivation;
• Experience in building microservice backend systems — from architecture design and service boundaries to ensuring stable operation under load;
• Ability to manage the development process: planning, decomposition, control of deadlines, quality, and production releases;
• Mature approach to team development: ability to engage, provide regular feedback, grow engineers;
• Ability to think systemically: identify bottlenecks — in architecture, processes, or the team;
• Knowledge and practical experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) will be a plus.
