About the team: Do you enjoy working on large-scale products, solving complex problems, and contributing to the continuous evolution of solutions that impact the day-to-day operations of the retail industry? Then this opportunity might be for you.

We are looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join our Retail Development team (Smarket), working on the support, evolution, and modernization of strategic products. You will be part of a challenging environment, where we work with operational products and technological modernization initiatives, directly contributing to the quality, stability, and scalability of our solutions.

Responsibilities and assignments

Develop, evolve, and maintain applications using Python, React, FastAPI, and other technologies in the ecosystem;
To work in the support and evolution of highly complex products in a production environment;
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to build solutions that generate value for the business and for our clients;
Participate in technical definitions and architecture discussions, contributing to the evolution of systems;
Develop and maintain code with a focus on quality, security, performance, and scalability;
Solving complex problems by investigating root causes and proposing sustainable solutions;
Participate in refactoring and technological modernization initiatives;
Optimize SQL queries and contribute to the evolution of the platform's databases;
Actively participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to the team's engineering standards;
Develop, maintain, and evolve CI/CD pipelines;
Create and maintain automated tests, promoting greater reliability and quality of deliverables;
Working in a highly collaborative environment, with a strong culture of knowledge sharing, support among colleagues, and continuous improvement.

Requirements and qualifications

What will make you stand out:

We are looking for someone who enjoys getting their hands dirty, transitions easily between backend and frontend, and has a strong interest in working with Python, which is the main technology in our stack. The team context requires professionals who can balance product maintenance and evolution, maintain the quality of deliverables, and contribute to improvements that make our solutions more scalable and sustainable over time. What we expect you to have:

Prior experience in the development and maintenance of medium or high complexity systems;
Practical experience with Python in a production environment;
Experience with JavaScript and React ;
Experience in building and maintaining APIs using FastAPI , Django , or similar technologies;
Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or equivalent;
Knowledge of systems architecture, microservices, and software engineering best practices;
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes ;
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines ;
Knowledge of agile methodologies, especially Scrum ;
Analytical skills to identify problems, investigate causes, and propose solutions;
Ability to work autonomously, with organization and prioritization skills;
Good communication skills are essential for interacting with diverse audiences, including technical, product, and business teams.
A collaborative attitude and openness to giving and receiving feedback;
Continuous interest in learning, innovation, and technological evolution.
These are desirable qualifications for this position.
Knowledge of Angular;
Experience in architectural modernization processes and systems migration;
Experience in SaaS products, retail technology, or large-scale solutions;
Experience with observability, performance, and application optimization;
Use of Artificial Intelligence tools applied to software development;
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
