Senior Fullstack Engineer

Company: Agvend

Location: Remote (USA, Europe, Canada, Cyprus)

Work Format: Remote

Salary: $5,000–8,000 gross/mo

About the company. Agvend is a B2B SaaS platform for the North American agricultural sector. 8 years on the market, ~30% of the ag-retail market in the USA/Canada. ~150 people, ~100 in R&D. Fully remote (~50 in the USA, ~100 in Europe), with offices in Canada/USA/Cyprus for those who prefer.

Tech Stack. Python, Django, DRF, Postgres, ClickHouse, AWS on the backend. TypeScript + React on the frontend. Modular monolith (3 large applications + satellite microservices). 5 prod K8s clusters, ~150 tenants, ~5K RPM. CircleCI, Docker/ECR, Helm/Terraform, blue-green.

What you’ll do.

• Full-cycle fullstack – end-to-end features from API to UI, without backend/frontend division.
• Ownership of a domain: architecture, code review, production responsibility.
• Working with real load: Postgres + ClickHouse, multi-tenant, millions of records.

Who we’re looking for.

• Senior, 5+ years of commercial fullstack development experience.
• Proficient Python + Django/DRF, production experience with PostgreSQL under load.
• Product-level React + TypeScript.
• Independence: domain ownership without micromanagement, direct work with PM.
• Russian – primary working language, English – working level.

Will be a plus.

ClickHouse / analytical databases, highload/fintech, K8s/Helm/Terraform/CircleCI at the "I can fix the pipeline" level, message queues and distributed systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ, idempotency).

Conditions.

• Senior-only team, flat structure (EM + senior IC, no tech leads).
• Unlimited vacations, soft management, no fixed hours, asynchronous communication – no expectation of instant response.
• Offsites 2x/year (Cyprus + Georgia/Armenia).
• Budget for training, conferences, equipment.
• Very low turnover – many have been working for 5–6 years.
• Internal team communication in Russian.
