What a Product Development Manager Does

— Develops and updates the Road Map, closely collaborates with all product stakeholders and key users.

— Works with business processes: fixes existing ones, describes and builds new ones.

— Gathers and systematizes user and business requirements based on active user feedback, including conducting interviews, analyzing social media, and reviews. We have researchers who can be involved to assist, and a lot of accumulated expertise internally.

— Designs user interactions with the product. Manages task assignment and acceptance when working with prototypes and usability.

— Writes task specifications for development from the perspective of business requirements and metrics, user tasks/problems/scenarios.

— Accepts completed tasks and integrates them into the business; provides feedback to the development team.

We are looking for someone who

— Has at least 3 years of experience in solving similar tasks within an IT product.

— Can manage a product/process using unit economics metrics.

— Has experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research, not just knowledge of buzzwords — custdev, CJM, user stories, JTBD.

— Can generate product hypotheses that will impact key metrics and turn hypotheses into tasks for the team.

— Can formulate a product development strategy.

— Possesses backlog prioritization skills, so that all process participants understand why a particular task needs to be done now.

— Has experience working with analytics systems such as Yandex.Metrica, Google Analytics, AppMetrica.

— Has experience working with B2B and enterprise clients.

— Can handle tasks with a high degree of uncertainty and a large subject area.
