We are looking for a Senior On-chain Engineer to work on projects within the Solana Foundation ecosystem. Most of the work is related to the Solana Security Token Standard (SSTS): developing the main program of the standard in Rust/Anchor, working with verification modules (KYC/AML), smart contract security, and preparing for external audits.

There will also be other projects within Solana of varying scale and duration — from a couple of weeks to several months.

The team consists of 60 specialists: on-chain engineers, backend, frontend, devops, mobile development, designers, product managers. There are no location restrictions, the main thing is a stable internet connection and the ability to intersect with the team in different time zones.

About technologies and our expectations

• Extensive experience in writing smart contracts on Solana, preferably using Anchor, but if necessary, you can use pure SDK and Pinocchio.
• You have solid experience with Rust: you know its strengths and weaknesses, and you are friends with the borrow checker.
• Understanding of Solana architecture: accounts, instructions, CPI, transaction limits, compute units, and data serialization.
• Have worked with Token Program, Token Extensions, ATA, multisig approaches.
• Have worked under resource constraints: you know how to optimize code for strict limits on stack, memory, and transaction size.
• Participated in deploying and supporting contracts on the network, know how to write tests, perform migrations, and work with devnet/mainnet.
• Independence and structure: you can go from idea to pull request without micromanagement.
• Communicate in English where necessary, and in Russian where possible.

Will be a plus

• Experience with DeFi protocols, AMM, LP, Oracles, NFT, Metaplex.
• Experience with other blockchains.
• Understanding of tokenomics, DeFi.
• Conducting smart contract security audits.
