Interexy is looking for a Python Developer with strong Data Engineering skills to join our team and work on cutting-edge solutions in the IoT.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python frameworks (FastAPI)
- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines across multiple data sources
- Work with large-scale datasets (IoT, time-series, and event-driven data)
- Integrate with external systems via REST APIs and process JSON data
- Write efficient and scalable SQL queries
- Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to deliver actionable insights
- Troubleshoot and improve existing systems (including legacy platforms)
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance
Requirements
- Strong Python development experience
- Solid SQL skills (preferably SingleStore or MySQL-style dialects)
- Experience working with REST APIs and JSON
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Familiarity with BI and data visualization tools
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- High attention to detail and strong debugging skills
- English level: B2 or higher
Nice to Have
- Experience with IoT, smart building systems, or sensor data (occupancy, IAQ, energy)
- Experience with time-series databases
- Experience working with event-driven architectures
