Mandatory requirements • Knowledge of data transmission network construction principles, basic routing protocols, TCP/IP stack. • Practical experience with network equipment (L2/L3 switches, routers, firewalls from various vendors). • Knowledge of protocols and technologies: VLAN, STP, RSTP, ARP, DHCP, DNS, Port security. • Ability to deploy a "router-on-the-stick" scheme from scratch. • Ability and practical experience in diagnosing network errors. • Ability to install operating systems of the Windows and Linux families.
Desirable skills (will be an advantage): • Experience with command line and administration of Unix-like OS (network configuration, file system, package installation, etc.). • Experience deploying services under Linux: DNS, DHCP, web, database, NAS. • Basic knowledge: VRF, BGP, OSPF, RIP, QoS, LACP, IPSEC, 802.1X, NTP, SMTP, POP3, etc. • Experience with traffic analyzers: tcpdump, Wireshark
