Senior Android developer (Moscow Chain and Wire Plant)

About the project:
For our partner, we are developing the Moscow Chain and Wire Plant (MCZ) application, which successfully combines solutions for two directions — B2C and B2B. The application, released in 2025, has already reached 5,000+ downloads and continues to actively develop!
For end users (B2C), we create a unique jewelry shopping experience with convenient navigation, personalized offers, and the ability to buy online. For corporate clients (B2B), we provide access to wholesale orders, business services, and exclusive offers.
You will work on the further development and improvement of the MCZ application, which will allow us not only to maintain high user interest but also to develop important business directions for partners and corporate clients!
About the team:
The Android development team consists of 17 talented specialists. Our team is experienced developers, architects, and engineers who actively share knowledge and experience. We value engagement and a drive for excellence, and we are always ready to support each other.
We use:
- Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack, Coroutines, Dagger2, Adapter Delegates, Room
- MVVM, Clean Architecture, Feature-based Multi-module Structure, Junit 5, MockK
- GitHub, Jira, Figma, Slack, SonarQube, Detekt, Crashlytics, Jenkins
What you will do:
- Develop the MCZ mobile application
- Design architecture, create new components, and participate in technical visioning
- Integrate with backend services, improve UI/UX
- Interact with other teams (designers, analysts, and developers) to implement new features
- Apply best development and design practices (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
- Optimize application performance, solve complex technical tasks
- Write and maintain unit tests, set up CI/CD for stable releases
- Participate in the code review process and adhere to quality standards
What we expect from you:
- Relevant work experience of 3+ years in Android development
- Knowledge of design principles and confident application of them in real projects
- Experience working with Multithreading and Concurrency, ability to effectively solve multi-tasking problems
- Excellent skills with Android SDK, Kotlin, and knowledge of the specifics of these technologies.
- Responsibility in the code review process, ability to work constructively with colleagues' code
- Ability to write high-quality unit tests and maintain a high level of test coverage
- Attention to detail, willingness to share knowledge and experience with colleagues
It's great if you:
- Have experience with Jetpack Compose
- Understand Memory Management and know how to manage resources efficiently
- Know how to write rules for Detekt for static code analysis
- Are familiar with testing tools and performance analysis tools
- Understand the principles of building a high-quality design system
