4. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Backend Development Design and build scalable backend services in Golang, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Infrastructure & DevOps Deploy and manage services using Docker and Kubernetes, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• System Design & Scalability Contribute to architecture decisions and optimise systems for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• CI/CD & Automation Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and improve developer workflows.
• Observability & Reliability Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and fast issue resolution.
• Ownership & Collaboration Own services end-to-end and work closely with engineering and product teams on delivery and improvements.

5. REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience in backend and/or DevOps roles
• Strong proficiency in Golang
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong experience with AWS (mandatory)
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of distributed systems, monitoring, and system design
• Ability to work independently and manage production systems
• Comfortable working in remote environments aligned with Dubai time zone

6. WHAT YOU WILL FOCUS ON (FIRST 3 MONTHS)

• Contribute to development and deployment of backend services
• Set up or improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, and alerting
• Participate in system design and implementation
• Take ownership of assigned services and infrastructure
• Improve performance, scalability, and operational efficiency
