PLAI is an AI platform for racket sports (tennis, paddle) that turns any court into a smart playing space with video, analytics, and tournaments.
We are building a system that:
- processes video from cameras in real-time
- scales for thousands of matches
- unites players in a single digital ecosystem
We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer who will become a key person in the infrastructure and help us build it "the right way from the start".
What you will be doing
- Designing and developing PLAI's cloud infrastructure (with a focus on scalability and fault tolerance)
- Deploying and maintaining a microservice architecture
- Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (fast and stable releases)
- Setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters
- Implementing monitoring, alerts, and observability
- Participating in load testing and preparing for growth
- Ensuring infrastructure security (networks, access, perimeter)
- Working with video/AI pipelines (load, storage, processing)
- Responding quickly to incidents and increasing system stability
What is important
- Solid experience with Linux (Ubuntu)
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes (in production)
- Experience building CI/CD (GitLab CI or similar)
- Understanding of networks: DNS, load balancing, CDN, security
- Experience configuring Nginx under load (reverse proxy, caching, load balancing)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Yandex Cloud / Azure)
- Experience implementing monitoring (Prometheus / Grafana / ELK / Zabbix)
- Understanding of fault tolerance and scaling principles
A big plus would be
- Experience with high-load systems or real-time processing
- Experience with video/streaming
- Kubernetes Ingress / Service Mesh
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Ansible)
- Experience configuring CDN and edge infrastructure (e.g., Cloudflare)
Why it's interesting
- You will build the infrastructure from scratch, not fix legacy systems
- Real engineering challenges: video, AI, real-time
- Direct influence on the product and architecture
- Fast releases and no bureaucracy
What we offer
- A great team
- Working on interesting tasks
- Opportunity to join the project at an early stage
- Possibility of remote work
- Good salary
P.S. Your enthusiasm and responsible approach to work are important to us. We are a funded startup creating an interesting commercial product, and the contribution of every team member to the final result is of great importance.
