Russian "mind-reading" startup Neiry is looking for a Head of IT.

Neiry Group of Companies is a leader in the development and application of neurotechnologies. The group currently includes 5 product companies: Neiry, Neurotech, Neurotrend, NeuroRoga, NeiryResearch — and their number is constantly growing.

In connection with this, they are looking for a Head of IT / IT Director who will take on not only stable operational work but also the development of the IT function for future business tasks. They are looking for a systemic Senior IT leader who is equally confident in operations and strategy: knows how to maintain SLAs, manage infrastructure, and at the same time design IT development with a horizon of 1 year and beyond.

About the Role:

This position has two equal blocks:

• 50% — IT operational management
• 50% — Strategic development and infrastructure transformation

The role involves a high level of autonomy, direct work with the CEOs of the companies, and participation in shaping the IT strategy of the group of companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management (≈50%):

• Leadership of the IT department and HelpDesk service

Infrastructure Support and Development:

• Windows Server (AD, DHCP, DNS, SMB)
• Linux (Zabbix, Grafana, SQL, Docker)
• Clouds and Services (Yandex Cloud, CloudFlare, VPS)
• Corporate network support (HPE, Zyxel, Ubiquiti: VLAN, WLAN, VPN, routing)
• Ensuring stable IT operation for 250+ Windows/MacOS users
• Access control, backup, antivirus protection
• Control and planning of equipment and software purchases
• IT asset accounting, participation in budgeting together with heads of other departments

Strategic Development (≈50%):

• Audit of current IT infrastructure and key processes
• Development and presentation of proposals for IT transformation to meet business needs
• Development of a separate IT environment for the high-tech direction of the GC
• Consideration of information security and regulatory requirements (FZ-152)

Candidate Expectations:

• IT function leadership experience of 3-5 years (Head of IT, IT Director, CIO, Deputy IT Director in small companies – up to 500 employees)
• Experience in companies with a developed technological or product component
• Practical understanding of information security, backup, SLAs
• Experience in budgeting and planning IT expenses
• English — fluent reading of technical documentation (B1+)
• Technical or techno-economic education (ASOI / IS — a plus)

Will be a plus:

• Experience in product IT companies, deep-tech, biotech, companies with high data security requirements
