Java developer for the Datanomica team on a project for a large Russian bank. Development of a high-load client communication platform, working with sharded databases and processing hundreds of millions of entities.
Tasks:
- Expand the platform with new functionalities
- Support and improve current processes
- Share expertise with the development team
- Write tests and develop autotests
- Support implemented tasks throughout the release cycle
- Participate in task definition from a developer's perspective
- Formulate proposals for improving platform performance
Requirements:
- Industrial development experience of 1 year or more
- Experience with Java 8+
- Knowledge of Java Core, Spring (Spring MVC, Spring Web, Spring Boot, Spring AOP), JPA (Hibernate)
- Understanding of web application development processes
- Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS interaction principles
- Solid knowledge and experience with databases: PostgreSQL and/or Oracle
- Practical experience in applying and knowledge of Apache Kafka principles
- Understanding the purpose, methods of collecting and analyzing logs and metrics
- Knowledge of methods for finding and optimizing application bottlenecks
- Experience with team development tools: GitLab/BitBucket, Jira
- Experience with CI tools: TeamCity, Jenkins
- Understanding of containerization and distributed system principles
- Understanding and adherence to SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI principles
