Due to the development of automation in the financial and HR areas and the launch of new corporate services, an opening for a System Architect has been created in the IT department.
We are looking for a technically strong specialist who can not only design architecture and make key technical decisions but also, if necessary, independently dive into implementation: conduct code reviews, develop prototypes and critical code sections, and help the team bring architectural solutions to a working product.
The main focus of work is the company's internal financial and HR systems: developing new solutions, enhancing existing services, and building integrations between corporate systems.
What do we expect from you?
- Deep understanding of distributed systems principles, including microservices and modular architecture, as well as understanding situations where using a monolith is a more rational solution.
- Knowledge of modern architectural approaches and patterns: DDD, Clean Architecture, SOLID, integration patterns, messaging patterns, event-driven architecture, and other common approaches to software system design.
- Practical experience in designing integration solutions and interacting with external systems: REST API, SOAP, ESB, message queues, file exchanges, and other integration methods.
- Knowledge of information security principles and experience in applying them to system design: authentication and authorization, access management, secure inter-service communication, secrets management, API and data protection.
- Experience in designing relational databases, understanding the principles of normalization, transactionality, indexing, and query optimization. Proficient knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or MS SQL Server.
- Good knowledge of C#/.NET and readiness to write code independently if necessary.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes and understanding the principles of containerization and building infrastructure for containerized applications.
- Ability to effectively interact with developers, DevOps engineers, system analysts, information security specialists, and business representatives.
- English language proficiency sufficient for reading technical documentation and corresponding with vendors.
It would be great if you:
- Are familiar with Zero Trust, RBAC/ABAC, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and other modern authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Have experience with S3-compatible storage, secrets management systems, and application configuration.
- Have experience working with and integrating with enterprise systems and platforms such as MS Dynamics AX (DAX), ELMA365, 1C, or similar solutions.
- Know Python or other programming languages besides C#.
- Understand the limitations and risks of using AI in corporate systems, including data security, access control, and the quality of model output.
- Have experience in teamwork on large software development projects.
What will you be working on?
Currently, the company is actively developing and implementing new internal systems for automating financial and HR processes. You will participate in creating new information systems and services, as well as in the architectural development of existing solutions.
Some projects are in the early stages, where the architect can directly influence the choice of technologies, architectural approaches, and principles for further system development. Other projects are already in production and require architectural enhancement, improved reliability, security, performance, and integration quality.
Therefore, we need an architect who is interested in working not only with "architecture on paper" but also with real systems throughout their entire lifecycle.
What will be my future responsibilities?
- Designing the architecture of new corporate information systems and developing the architecture of existing solutions; elaborating architectural options, analyzing trade-offs, and making technical decisions.
- Participating in refining business and system requirements jointly with analysts and clients. Architectural review of requirements and documentation prepared by system analysts. Identifying architectural risks and contradictions at the requirements formation stage.
- Formulating security requirements for designed solutions in collaboration with information security specialists.
- Developing and conducting code reviews of architecturally significant and critically important system sections. Assisting developers in implementing complex technical solutions and resolving emerging architectural problems.
- Participating in the investigation of complex technical problems, performance issues, and system failures.
- Monitoring the compliance of implemented solutions with the adopted architecture and technical principles.
- Participating in multiple projects simultaneously, at different stages of their lifecycle.
It is important for us that the system architect remains technically involved in development and understands how the adopted architectural decisions are implemented in the real system.
