Our team in the Corporate Business Development Department develops ML models in the following areas:

• churn prevention
• CLTV estimation
• omnichannel recommendation system
• credit and deposit quoting, etc.
• industry-specific models
• comment and feedback classification
• link strength assessment in a graph

Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end process of creating a data product, from researching relevant data, building and testing hypotheses, creating features, to testing and preparing the finished product for industrial operation

Requirements

• Higher education in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, or another relevant field

• Deep understanding of statistical approaches and methods (regression, distribution properties, hypothesis testing and their proper use) and experience in applying them

• Proficient command of core DS libraries in Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, pytorch, lightgbm)

• Experience in applying machine learning algorithms (GLM/Regression, Trees, Random Forest, Boosting), understanding their advantages, disadvantages, and limitations

• Solid level of engineering culture (ability to write adequate code in reasonable time, use version control)

• Experience with SQL language, Apache Spark skills

• English language (spoken and written) as an advantage

• Experience in distributed/parallel computing using the following technologies: Hadoop, Spark, Dask and others as an advantage

• Desire to delve into the business of the relevant industry

• Ability to communicate with the business customer, listen to the interlocutor, and argue one's point of view
