Description
We are looking for a talented and motivated Middle/Senior Data Scientist to solve ambitious tasks. Our team is engaged in modeling credit processes, which are the core of Sber's business and a key driver of profit.
Responsibilities
- development and maintenance of models for automation and optimization of retail lending processes for various credit products
- analysis of large volumes of data in different formats (structured data, sequences, graphs)
- experimentation with non-standard approaches to training scoring models, including neural networks
- analysis of the effectiveness of new data sources for improving current credit processes
- interaction with the business customer on tasks, presentation of the obtained results.
Requirements
- background in physics/mathematics, economics/mathematics
- deep understanding of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, specifics of their practical application
- work experience from 1 year, including experience in model development and a fundamental understanding of the banking domain
- confident command of Python and data analysis libraries (pandas, numpy), ML (scikit-learn, catboost, lightgbm, etc.) and DL (PyTorch)
- ability to work with large volumes of data (EDA, cleaning, feature selection and generation), skill in writing and optimizing SQL queries
- experience with Hadoop (Spark, Hive) and/or other tools for multi-threaded data processing (Polars, Dask, GreenPlum)
- experience with Jira/Confluence/Git
- desire to understand business processes and propose ways to optimize them.
