Wayve is hiring a Technical Product Manager in Japan to help shape Wayve’s first consumer robotaxi program.

This is a highly impactful, zero-to-one role within a new product team. You’ll own the end-to-end rider experience before and after each trip, working across Engineering, AI, HMI, Systems, Operations, external partners and OEMs.

For this search, I’m particularly interested in people who bring the following (non-negotiable) :

• High fluency Japanese and a deep understanding of Japanese culture, combined with excellent English communication skills
• Experience working in big tech or another high-bar product environment
• Strong technical product management experience and the ability to work closely with engineering teams on complex systems

Experience in autonomous driving, mobility or ride-hailing would be a strong advantage, but it isn’t essential

This is a true product role rather than a program management or operations position. We’re looking for someone who has directly shaped and shipped technical products, is comfortable working with data and metrics, and can represent the voice of the customer.
