HES FinTech develops advanced lending software solutions for banks, financial institutions, and fintech companies. Our platform helps organizations automate lending processes, improve risk management, and scale digital lending operations.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who can take ownership of complex FinTech projects, drive predictable delivery, and help us improve how we plan resources, estimate work, and manage team capacity.
We are particularly interested in someone who understands how AI is changing software development and can help teams adapt their delivery practices to this new reality.
What You'll Do
Project Delivery & Client Management
- Lead complex FinTech software projects end-to-end, from discovery and planning through development, release, and ongoing delivery.
- Own project scope, timelines, budgets, quality, risks, and dependencies.
- Manage multiple projects and workstreams while maintaining clear priorities and predictable delivery.
- Act as the main point of contact for international clients, managing expectations, negotiations, and escalations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Developers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in presales activities, project estimation, scope definition, and commercial discussions.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client engagements.
Resource & Capacity Planning
- Plan and manage resource allocation across multiple projects and teams.
- Forecast capacity needs, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address resource constraints.
- Balance workloads and priorities to improve team utilization and delivery predictability.
- Collaborate with technical leads and management on resource planning and staffing decisions.
- Improve estimation accuracy using actual delivery data, team performance metrics, and evolving development practices.
Delivery Optimization & AI Adoption
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes and team productivity.
- Implement practical AI-powered solutions to automate routine project management activities and improve planning.
- Help teams adapt effort estimation and delivery forecasting to AI-assisted software development.
- Evaluate how AI tools affect development speed, workload, and project timelines.
- Introduce meaningful delivery metrics and data-driven approaches to planning and decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably in FinTech, Banking, or financial software development.
- Proven experience managing complex web-based or enterprise software projects.
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and modern delivery practices.
- Hands-on experience in resource and capacity planning across multiple projects or teams.
- Experience managing project budgets, timelines, risks, dependencies, and client expectations.
- Ability to work with project delivery metrics, analyze team performance, and improve estimation and forecasting accuracy.
- Experience working with international clients and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
- Solid technical understanding of software architecture, APIs, integrations, and development processes.
- Experience with Fixed Price and Time & Materials project models.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- English - C1 or higher, including the ability to independently lead client meetings. Russian - fluent/native.
- Currently based in Poland.
