Job description:
- Participation in all stages of service creation — from database structure design to writing tests and deployment.
- Development of microservice solutions or monolithic applications (depending on the project).
- Optimization of existing solutions, code refactoring.
- Interaction with external APIs and internal microservices.
- Setting up and supporting communications (REST, WebSocket).
- Code review of colleagues' work, writing comments and recommendations for quality improvement.
- Maintaining unified development standards within the team.
- Writing and updating tests, finding and fixing bugs.
- Performance analysis, bottleneck profiling.
Requirements:
- Node.js development experience of 2+ years.
- Deep understanding of core modules, concepts (Events, Streams), and asynchronous model specifics.
- Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and understanding of TypeScript.
- Practical experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar tools.
- Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of REST, microservices, SOLID and DRY principles.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable applications.
- Basic Docker skills (Dockerfile, docker-compose).
- Experience in optimizing Node.js applications for high loads (profiling, caching).
