DevOps Engineer

Stepmania is a Telegram-based entertainment pedometer app that turns physical activity into an interactive game. Rooted in a "walk-to-earn" mechanic, users complete steps to earn in-app currency, compete in challenges, join raffles, and unlock digital rewards. It's more than fitness — it's fun, social, and game-driven.

We’re looking for a proactive and reliable DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for building, scaling and maintaining our AWS infrastructure to support rapid product growth and high event-driven traffic loads. Your work will directly impact product stability, performance and the ability to scale to millions of users.

Responsibilities:

• Support and development of AWS infrastructure
• Development and improvement of IaC (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Creation of new services with a full set of environments.
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of production incidents.
• Preparing infrastructure for high event-driven traffic loads.
• Monitoring and optimization of cloud costs (Aurora ACU, ALB LCU, Redis sizing, etc.).
• Support and maintenance of CI/CD processes.
• On-call duty during key events.
• Close collaboration with developers and the CTO.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of how the internet and network protocols work.
• Experience with Redis, Aurora, or other managed databases.
• Experience handling production incidents.
• Mature approach to Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of cloud cost management.
• Independence and proactivity.
