Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer
We are looking for a Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer to join our strong Combo Tech team.
Current Infrastructure:
- ~50 servers (Hetzner dedicated + VPS, DigitalOcean)
- Staging: Docker Swarm
- Production: Docker Compose
- DB: MariaDB with Master-Slave replication
- CI/CD: GitLab, Harbor registry
- IaC: initial implementation stage, Ansible for server configuration
Responsibilities:
- Migrate production to a highly available Docker Swarm / K8S cluster
- Build comprehensive monitoring: Prometheus + Grafana + alerting
- Deploy ELK stack for centralized logging
- Bring Infrastructure as Code to a production-ready state
- Configure automated backups with RTO < 1 hour
- Establish on-call processes and runbooks
- Security hardening of the infrastructure
- Prepare for the implementation of SLA/SLO metrics
Requirements:
- Experience with Docker, Docker Swarm / Kubernetes in production
- Experience with Ansible
- Experience building monitoring stacks (Prometheus + Grafana)
- Deep Linux knowledge (Debian/Ubuntu) for troubleshooting
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD
- MariaDB/MySQL administration (replication, backup, recovery)
- Experience building centralized logging (ELK/Loki)
- SRE experience: diagnostics and incident resolution in production
Mandatory:
- On-call 24/7 (incidents require quick response, including weekends)
- Autonomy in decision-making
- Responsibility for infrastructure stability
Will be a plus:
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with security best practices (secrets management, SSL/TLS, firewall)
- Knowledge of infrastructure cost optimization
- Experience in iGaming or Fintech (uptime requirements)
- Experience building a DevOps team
