Auto.ru is a large portal about everything related to cars and other vehicles: listings, catalog, reviews, Bordzhurnal (travel log), history reports, Garage. We help a multi-million audience to choose, buy, and sell cars.

We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join the onboarding team. We develop a design system and use Storybook. We have high load, a microservices approach, an extensive service degradation control system, and a fully automated release cycle.

We value initiative, regularly launch new projects, and are always open to fresh technical ideas.

Our tech stack: Node.js for SSR and BFF, React/Redux on the client (migrating to Redux Toolkit), TypeScript, CSS Modules (but plain CSS is still present).

What tasks await you

Implementation of product tasks You will create many product features using React and TypeScript. You will apply a component-based approach, ensure high performance, and write clean, typed code that is easy to maintain. It is important to rely on best practices and current versions of the technology stack.

Teamwork You will need to collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and project managers.

Improving the technical base We value quality and reliability. You will help reduce technical debt, optimize current solutions, as well as conduct code reviews and share experience with the team.

We expect you to

• Have excellent knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Have worked with Node.js
• Have good knowledge of React, understand the principles of global state managers (e.g., Redux)
• Have a deep understanding of REST API principles and how the HTTP protocol works
• Be proficient in Git
• Cover code with screenshot and unit tests

Will be a plus

• Have worked with GraphQL
• Have worked with CI/CD systems
