Interface Developer at DataLens

DataLens is a data visualization and analysis service from Yandex Cloud. We are expanding the team and looking for experienced full-stack TypeScript developers.

Tech stack: React, Redux, Gravity UIKit, Node.js.

Part of the development is conducted in open repositories, as DataLens is also an open-source product.

About the team

We are a truly pleasant and cozy team, each member of which was carefully and patiently selected so that everyone feels comfortable interacting with each other. We meticulously nurture all team members: we select suitable projects to develop the necessary skills and strive to adjust the course in a timely manner.

Our team works from Moscow in an office or hybrid format: you can work from home a couple of days a week. We strive to ensure that the working hours of different team members overlap between 12:00 and 18:00 Moscow time; otherwise, we trust each other and are flexible about working hours.

What tasks await you

Designing and developing interfaces and services We design and develop tools for configuring connections and datasets, creating charts and dashboards. Together with designers, we think about how to make the UI functional and clear. We also develop services on Node.js — for example, an API for creating chart screenshots and a system for organizing email distributions of dashboards.

Maintenance and support of services We actively participate in supporting the infrastructure of our services, configure CI/CD processes, use Terraform and Kubernetes, scale and accelerate work, monitor the stability of services.

Contributing to cloud frontend technologies We contribute a lot to the common frontend technologies for Yandex Cloud and to our open cloud ecosystem of components and libraries, Gravity.

We expect that you

• Have several years of frontend development experience
• Know JavaScript/TypeScript and React libraries
• Are interested in cloud technologies

Would be a plus

• Familiar with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure
• Have worked with Node.js
