Fullstack Developer for Web IDE

We are developing a Web IDE - a tool for working with databases, through which you can view and modify the database schema, and execute queries.

WebSQL is similar to DataGrip, pgAdmin, but it is tightly integrated with Yandex Cloud.

We used to be a startup, but now we've expanded: we already have two installations, each with two environments, and each with three microservices.

• We are a young distributed team (Moscow - Belgrade)

What tasks await you

Developing new features for the Web IDE In the near future, we will be working on implementing data import and export, supporting long (more than 15 minutes) queries, supporting read-only connections, a new on-premise installation, YDB, Elasticsearch, KSQL databases.

Improving auto-completion when writing SQL queries For auto-completion, we use ANTLR, and contribute to the open-source code.

Improving infrastructure You will work on stabilizing CI/CD and development tools.

We expect that you

• Have solid command of TypeScript, have developed UI with React, Angular, or Vue
• Have developed BFF or microservice backend applications on Node.js
• Have practical experience working with SQL databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, YDB, or equivalents
• Love simple and understandable code. We have no factory methods or factories. We write only what is needed. If code passes the test of time, we expand and improve it
• Can perceive and give feedback carefully, work in a team

It will be a plus

• Have worked with Redux Toolkit
• Have been involved in DevOps, worked with K8s and used Infrastructure as Code
• Have worked with cloud providers
• Were responsible for end-to-end features
• Use AI assistants to solve small tasks
