Developer for the Test Management Tools Development Group

We are building a platform to ensure and analyze product quality at various stages of its lifecycle.

The platform currently includes:

• A Test Management System (TMS): a service for organizing, structuring, analyzing coverage, and tracking the results of test scenarios.
• Analytical dashboards: tools for assessing the behavior of manual and automated tests in the present and past.
• Integration points within the development portal surfaces: adding knowledge about normal test behavior to interfaces so users get maximum information for solving tasks.

We are a full-stack team where everyone understands the structure of the entire platform: from frontend and backend to CLI tools, infrastructure, and integrations with other services and solutions of the development portal.

About the team

Most of the team currently works from the Moscow office, but we have effectively established a distributed format, so we are considering candidates not only from Moscow.

What tasks await you

Development of TMS and the platform You will develop the Test Management System (TMS) and the quality assurance platform based on the development portal. You will design the architecture, implement integrations between quality verification accounting systems, and develop CLI tools for test management.

Creating analytical tools You will build and improve dashboards to analyze the behavior of manual and automated tests. Work with relational and analytical databases, write and optimize complex queries for data processing.

Embedding into the development portal You will integrate data about testing and quality checks into various surfaces of the portal, which are used daily by thousands of engineers.

We expect you to

• Be willing to delve into the complex domain of testing, consider the needs of QA engineers, and suggest product improvements
• Have experience developing web services and understand the principles of building reliable and scalable systems with high read loads
• Be willing to code primarily in TypeScript on the backend (Node.js) and frontend (React), but are not afraid to explore other programming languages if needed
• Have worked with relational and analytical databases, and know how to write and optimize queries for them
• Be willing to participate in on-call duties, investigate incidents, and push improvements to production

Will be a plus

• Experience with NestJS, MikroORM, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, React, Redux, React Query, writing CLI applications
• Have worked with large systems that have complex requirements for data versioning and change history
• Show interest in the product side: are ready to take on feature leadership and drive tasks from idea and requirement refinement to rollout and analysis of results
