Full-Stack Developer for Autonomous Transport Analytics Services

Yandex aims to make the movement of people and goods safer, more accessible, and more convenient. Our goal is to be among the world's first companies to create autonomous vehicle control technology. To achieve this, we are assembling a team of passionate and dedicated professionals who want to participate in the development of autonomous transport.

We are creating services for processing data from delivery robots, passenger cars, and trucks, developing tools for analyzing and labeling data from autonomous rovers, and creating interfaces for simulations, experiments, and evaluation of their results. We work closely with analysts, technology developers, QA engineers, and specialists operating the autonomous fleet.

What tasks await you

Service Development You will create new services, for example, tools for analyzing delivery robot data and autonomous vehicle logs, interfaces for launching simulations. You will develop architectures, design APIs, write reliable and clean code, and integrate new services into existing systems.

Service Support and Modernization You will support and modernize existing services: fix bugs, optimize performance, improve the user experience — for example, speed up interfaces for analyzing autonomous vehicle behavior or improve data labeling tools.

Interface Development You will develop user interfaces that will help QA engineers find and analyze critical errors faster, and help operations specialists track the status of the autonomous fleet in real time. You will participate in UX/UI design, write client-side logic, integrate interfaces with the backend, and test them against requirements.

Providing Tools for Work You will help technology development teams, QA engineers, and autonomous fleet operations specialists get convenient and reliable tools for work, and you will be able to help them analyze data more effectively, run experiments, and make informed technical decisions.

Supporting Development Infrastructure You will implement best development practices, write automated tests for user interface components, and improve code quality.

We expect you to

• Have used frameworks like React, Redux or similar
• Have excellent knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Have experience with full-stack development using Python, Django, PostgreSQL
• Know how to work with Git or other distributed version control systems
• Be ready to propose ideas and make improvements at all stages of development

Will be a plus

• Have developed interfaces for displaying structured data, admin panels, or similar services
• Have configured CI/CD and developed automated testing infrastructure
