The network of Yandex Money consists of several geographically distributed offices and data centers built on Cisco network equipment. We also actively use Linux and ready-made open-source solutions, and develop our own tools for infrastructure management.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and developing the company's network infrastructure
- Administering network devices: Linux firewalls (Ubuntu + BIRD + Iptables), Linux SLB (IPVS), Cisco, and others
- Supporting and developing proprietary solutions and third-party services: OpenVPN, open-source Load Balancing (IPVS + Keepalived), Linux Routing (BIRD), DNS (PowerDNS, BIND), DHCP
- Managing network infrastructure according to the Infrastructure as Code concept: Bitbucket, Ansible
- Automating application tasks of the network infrastructure using Bash/Python
- Maintaining technical documentation
We expect you to have:
- Administrator-level experience with Linux OS family
- Experience with Linux software firewalls
- Understanding of dynamic routing principles, practical experience with BGP, OSPF protocols
- Knowledge of how core TCP/IP stack protocols work
- Basic programming skills in Bash/Python
- Experience working with Cisco network equipment
- Knowledge of network technologies and services at CCNP level
- Understanding of traffic balancing mechanisms
It will be a plus if you:
- Know Linux Ubuntu
- Are familiar with Git
- Have practiced with Ansible: can read playbooks and make edits, understand the purpose of roles, templates, tasks, and inventory
- Have worked with CI/CD Jenkins
- Have experience with cloud services
- Have been involved in the implementation and support of IP fabrics
