Backend Tech Lead for International Advertising (C++)
If a technology can generate money, it inevitably becomes complex. Yandex's ad engine is exactly such a system: one of the most high-load and technologically advanced in the world.
We are developing our own advertising stack for the international market. Our engine is a high-load service with a microservice architecture that processes hundreds of thousands of requests per second with latency of a few hundred milliseconds. Managing millions of ads in real time, we balance between the interests of users and maximum benefit for advertisers.
Designing architecture and implementing new features We implement innovative products for which there are no ready-made or simple solutions. Every task begins with a systematic study of the future product, building the architecture and processes around the new functionality. All employees participate in the design.
Immerse yourself in the product We work in a developing industry with dynamically changing requirements and a high diversity of product development directions. Your task will be to expand the product's capabilities, designing a flexible architecture suitable for future development.
Shape the face of performance advertising in AI agents This is a fundamentally new challenge for the industry: there are currently no ready-made references or proven mechanics for this task in the world. This is work at the intersection of a classic ad engine and cutting-edge generative technologies.
