C++ Developer for the Advertising Engine Infrastructure Team

Our team is developing the infrastructure of the Advertising engine, which is responsible for selecting ads for users and processing hundreds of thousands of requests per second. We develop and maintain all the engine's infrastructure components, ensuring its response speed and behavior under high load. Currently, we are completely rethinking the engine's infrastructure technology stack to make it simpler, more reliable, and reusable, and then extend it to numerous Advertising microservices.

What tasks await you

Development of advertising engine infrastructure components You will be responsible for developing and maintaining engine infrastructure components for logging, database loading, metric collection, and many others, ensuring high response speed, performance, and reliability of the engine.

Optimization of CPU, RAM, network, and disk resources You will optimize the logic of the engine and various Advertising microservices, reducing consumption of CPU, RAM, network, and disk resources.

Implementation of a unified technology stack in Advertising microservices You will undertake the large-scale task of spreading unified technologies and approaches to numerous Advertising microservices to increase the overall reliability of Advertising and reduce the maintenance cost of microservices.

We expect that you

• Have a good knowledge of C++ and have developed code using it
• Know classical algorithms and data structures
• Have developed web services and understand their structure
• Can work with a large codebase

Will be a plus

• Confidently use the Linux OS, have administered it
• Have experience with debugging and profiling, can find problems in unfamiliar code
• Have developed and designed high-load systems
