We are looking for a developer to help us build Holisto's test infrastructure and make development faster and more stable.

Holisto is a mobile application that helps people turn self-development from content consumption into small daily actions. We already have a working V3 on Flutter, which we are testing with early users. The plan is V4 with improvements based on beta test results and V5 for public launch.

This means you won't be starting from scratch, but joining an existing product that will be actively changing, and where we need to ensure that new changes don't break what's already working.

What you will do:

• Understand the existing code and logic of V3
• Reconstruct requirements for already implemented features
• Turn core scenarios into test cases
• Write Flutter tests
• Gradually cover critical user flows with golden and E2E tests
• Integrate tests and coverage into CI
• Catch regressions between V3 - V4 - V5
• Find edge cases before beta users do

There's an interesting feature: we are gradually automating a significant part of the development through AI agents. Therefore, a test case for us is not just documentation, but a machine-verifiable contract. An agent makes a change — the test fails — it's clear what's broken — the change is fixed before release.

A separate direction is testing Holisto's AI functions themselves. LLMs are non-deterministic, so we will also gradually develop an approach to their automated testing.

What we expect:

• Dart / Flutter at a level where you can "read someone else's code and independently write tests"
• Basic understanding of unit / widget / integration / E2E testing
• Ability to precisely formulate requirements
• Attention to detail
• Interest in AI / LLM and modern development
• Desire to understand the existing product, not just write new features

Commercial experience is not required. A good foundation, meticulousness, and the ability to quickly learn are more important. There will be a team lead, help with onboarding, and reviews of every PR.

• part-time, can be combined with studies or main job
• format and motivation are discussed separately depending on experience and level of involvement
• possibility of receiving a stake in an already registered Delaware company
• the stronger the specialist and the more responsibility they take on, the more interesting the terms we can make
• after a revenue / investment round, a transition to a paid format is possible
• with good results, the role can gradually grow along with the Holisto engineering team

Why it might be interesting: This is an opportunity to join an already working product at an early stage and go through the V3 - V4 - V5 - public launch journey with it. At the same time, the task is not just to "write tests." We want to build a system where AI agents help develop the product, and automated tests become boundaries for them that cannot be broken. For junior / junior+, this can be a strong technical case at the intersection of Flutter, testing infrastructure, and AI-assisted development.
