Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an information security strategy and a development roadmap for the function for 12-18 months.
- Build an IS management system: processes, policies, risk register, execution control, and regular review.
- Prepare the company for external audits and certifications and support their completion.
- Organize the compliance framework and the process of collecting and managing evidence.
- Set up incident detection and response processes, and increase the level of operational readiness.
- Develop SecOps, AppSec, and Cloud Security areas in collaboration with technical teams.
Implement secure development practices and security requirements into the product lifecycle (SDLC).
- Build a vulnerability management process, conduct regular checks, and control risk mitigation.
- Organize and scale penetration testing and security assessment practices.
- Manage risks from external vendors, integration partners, and technology contractors.
- Interact with CTO, Data, Legal, and business functions on data protection and architectural solutions.
- Develop the security function structure: strengthen the current team and hire missing specialists.
- Launch and maintain employee training and security awareness programs.
Who we are looking for:
- A specialist with experience in managing an information security function.
- A candidate with practical experience in building security programs in a digital environment or in a highly regulated industry (e.g., iGaming, fintech, payments, marketplaces, large IT systems).
- Someone with proven experience in passing audits and building compliance processes.
- A specialist with skills in implementing incident management and vulnerability management processes.
- Someone who understands cloud and distributed infrastructure security.
- A manager with leadership experience: team building and delegation of responsibilities.
- A candidate with English proficiency of at least Upper-Intermediate.
- Bonus points: experience in iGaming or other highly regulated online industries, experience with B2B integrations and platform products, participation in scaling a security function in a growing company.
