We are looking for a Junior Autotester for a dynamically developing team that develops and supports network management products.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Perform end-to-end testing of products, covering all levels: from UI/API to backend, DB, and workers;
- Develop and maintain autotests (API, integration, E2E/UI) in Python and integrate them into CI/CD;
- Test REST API, including checking contracts, response codes, validation, error handling, and edge cases;
- Test the web interface (React), checking forms, validation, user scenarios, and display of statuses and results;
- Verify data correctness in PostgreSQL and ClickHouse, including integrity and consistency with backend and worker results;
- Check the performance of background workers (Python/Go), evaluating task completion, retries, failure behavior, and final statuses;
- Participate in discussions and reviews of requirements, as well as prepare and maintain test data and environments together with developers.
WHAT WE EXPECT:
- Proficient in Python for writing autotests, scripts, working with fixtures, and reading code;
- Experience in automating API and UI testing (pytest + requests/httpx, Go, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium);
- Understanding of basic software testing principles, web application architecture, and component interaction;
- Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS and REST API, as well as the ability to work with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI);
- Ability to work with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, as well as a basic understanding of application logs;
- Ability to create test cases, checklists, and bug reports, as well as localize errors in the system;
- Basic Git skills and understanding of frontend, backend, database, and background service interaction.
