ML Developer for the Marketplace Advertising Platform
Yandex Market is one of the leading marketplaces with millions of active users and hundreds of millions of product offers. It is important that the company is in a stage of active growth; there are still many unresolved tasks, and new ones are constantly emerging.
One such task is tackled by the advertising platform team: how to build convenient and effective promotion tools for partners, while generating revenue and not disappointing users. The Market's advertising platform has two main areas — display advertising and performance advertising. ML developers work in both directions, collaborating with other colleagues, analysts, and product managers. We are actively developing and investing in ML algorithms, improving existing tools and creating new ones, directly influencing the company's key metrics — orders, GMV, and unit economics.
To achieve our goals, we use the most modern ML technologies — CatBoost, BERT, YaGPT. We have petabytes of logs, tens of thousands of RPS, and also the convenient Yandex infrastructure, which allows us to solve typical work tasks very quickly — writing code, deploying, setting up monitoring and metrics.
Building the full lifecycle of ML models You will lead processes from collecting raw logs to production monitoring.
Developing conversion predictors and advertising auctions You will build convenient promotion tools for partners in collaboration with colleagues.
Working on user retention and personalization You will configure offers and improve communication with users.
