Our team develops a large-scale infrastructure service for notifications used by all Yandex services. It is characterized by high loads, complex technical challenges, and architectural demands. We help various products quickly interact with users for daily real-time scenarios. The service processes billions of messages per day: a new email arrives — we notify, a taxi is approaching — we alert, a webpage's content changes — we update.

The team extensively uses the latest standard C++, Boost, PostgreSQL, Git. Transparent processes are established, and agile development and lean manufacturing practices are widely applied: limiting work in progress, upfront design, code review, pair programming. Developers tackle a wide range of tasks — from asynchronous programming to distributed systems and implementing end-product requirements.

What tasks await you

Infrastructure Tasks You will be implementing new transport layers to end users, devising algorithms to ensure the highest fault tolerance, and optimizing load distribution.

We expect that you

• Have excellent knowledge of C++
• Know classical algorithms
