About the Team
Auto Ai Assistant is a team focused on developing an AI assistant for Auto. The assistant is built on ADK (Python stack) and can be interacted with in Avito. Our goal is to deliver value to users using the latest technologies. We train models, develop new skills for the assistant, work with the assistant's memory and context, and handle stream evaluation.
What Tasks Await You
- write code and conduct code reviews, monitor code quality in production;
- work on the assistant's architecture;
- deal with high-load components;
- decompose tasks for other engineers;
- improve the team's engineering tools;
- dive into business specifics and interact with the product, ML team, and frontend;
- write autotests and choose the optimal approach for verifying task quality;
- participate in all team processes and help be responsible for development-related metrics;
- understand the business context — it's important for us to understand how product changes can affect related systems.
Examples of Future Tasks
- adding skills for the Assistant;
- refining the evaluation system, working on judges;
- solving problems related to context preservation and assistant memory in long dialogues;
- implementing the stream API;
- refining UX for displaying responses (backend driven);
- implementing auto-specific guardrails.
We Expect You To Have
- at least five years of experience in Python development;
- experience in developing high-load systems, deep understanding of database principles;
- understand the principles of L7 protocols (including WebSocket);
- experience in developing microservices, REST API;
- metrics, NFR, logging are not just empty words to you.
It Would Be Great If You Have
- developed in Golang;
- experience with agent systems;
- knowledge of one of the agent frameworks, Google ADK, langgraph will be a plus.
