Python Developer with RPA focus

We are looking for a Python developer with a focus on RPA (business process automation). Requires 2+ years of commercial experience in Python and 1+ year in automation tasks (bots, integrations, parsing, desktop/browser automation). Ability to work with existing codebase, perform refactoring, and write maintainable code adhering to SOLID, DRY, KISS principles is important. Experience with Git (preferably GitLab), debugging, profiling, and documentation skills are mandatory.

Responsibilities: • Development and support of RPA solutions • Browser and desktop application automation • Working with Excel, PDF, HTML (parsing, generation, processing) • Integration with external APIs and corporate systems • Development of GUI interfaces (PyQt) • Logging setup, error handling • Building and deploying solutions as .exe Requirements: Python 3.12+ and confident command of the stack: Data Handling: • openpyxl (formulas, styles, merged cells) • pandas, numpy Integrations and Configurations: • requests • PyYAML, python-dotenv • json (stdlib) GUI: • PyQt5 / PyQt6 (QThread, signal/slot, .ui) RPA / Automation: • Selenium 4.x • pywinauto and/or PyAutoGUI • keyboard, comtypes (basic) • (plus) selenium-wire Parsing and Formats: • PDF: pdfplumber, PyMuPDF (fitz), (preferably: camelot, pypdf, pdfminer) • HTML/XML: beautifulsoup4, lxml • Excel legacy: xlrd Logging and Debugging: • logging (RotatingFileHandler, QueueHandler, log levels) • traceback Build: • PyInstaller (including .spec) Architecture and Approaches: • Configuration: config.yaml + .env • Log separation: debug / info / error with rotation • Thread-safe logging • Error handling with traceback • Single instance (PID file) • Background tasks in GUI via QThread • Correct work with Excel (formulas, styles, merged cells) Integrations: • REST API • (preferably) exchangelib (Microsoft Exchange) • Working with external portals and services • (plus) experience with EDS / NCALayer Infrastructure: • Virtual environments (.venv) • requirements.txt, version pinning • Building via PyInstaller (dist/ structure) • (plus) GitLab CI/CD Will be a plus: • SQL / SQLAlchemy • FastAPI / Flask • Docker • Redis, Celery / RQ • Playwright • OCR (Tesseract, EasyOCR) • Understanding of procurement processes and document flow in the Republic of Kazakhstan
