Responsibilities
- Overall management of the crop production division of the enterprise.
- Development and implementation of an annual production plan for 7000 hectares.
- Formation of an optimal sowing area structure and crop rotation.
- Selection of crops, varieties, and hybrids taking into account the soil and climatic conditions of the farm and economic efficiency.
- Development of technological maps for growing agricultural crops.
- Organization of soil preparation, sowing campaign, fertilizer application, plant protection, and harvesting operations.
- Determination of the need for seeds, fertilizers, plant protection products, fuel and lubricants, and other production resources.
- Control of deadlines and quality of all field operations.
- Regular monitoring of crop condition and prompt adjustment of cultivation technology.
- Organization of agrochemical soil analysis and development of a plant nutrition system.
- Control of the efficiency of agricultural machinery use.
- Planning machinery workload and interaction with the engineering and technical service.
- Management of the agronomic service, machine operators, and other employees of the crop production division.
- Accounting for actual costs for each crop and each field.
- Control of the production cost of agricultural products.
- Analysis of yield, costs, and profitability by crop.
- Organization of proper accounting for cultivated and harvested crops.
Requirements
- Higher specialized education: agronomy, crop production, plant protection, agrochemistry, or a related agricultural field.
- Practical experience in crop production - preferably at least 5 years.
- Experience as a chief agronomist, head of crop production, deputy head of an agricultural enterprise, or in a comparable position.
- Real practical experience in growing cereals, oilseeds, and other field crops.
- Ability to calculate seeding rates, fertilization systems, and plant protection schemes.
- Good knowledge of modern plant protection products, fertilizers, seed material, and agricultural machinery.
- Understanding of crop production economics: cost price, yield, gross harvest, crop profitability.
- Ability to plan seasonal work and ensure its completion within optimal agro-technical deadlines.
