We are currently looking for a skilled Python developer who can thoughtfully dive into tasks and develop the backend architecture of our services while maintaining its reliability.
Your responsibilities will include:
- designing new services and developing technical solutions from scratch;
- writing concise SQL queries (ORM is not our way) and getting the most out of PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, ElasticSearch;
- evolving existing code: refactoring, redesigning, improving the architecture step by step;
- working under high load and with terabytes of data;
- conducting code reviews, sharing experience, and maintaining a healthy team atmosphere.
What we expect from the candidate:
- at least 3 years of commercial development experience — confident proficiency in Python;
- a technical education;
- deep knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL / ElasticSearch — ability to profile and optimize queries, a desire to study nuances, configure performance, and implement best practices;
- understanding of design patterns and web application architecture;
- ability to understand other people's codebases without complete rewriting;
- ability to independently solve complex problems, estimate timelines, and meet deadlines.
