Go Developer for the Financial Products Team
About the team: The FMP (Financial Marketplace) product develops financial services for Avito users. It has been around for about 3 years. Users are those interested in financial products: the team helps promote these services and develop them as part of the business. We integrate with external partners – financial service providers. In the future, we are working on developing a financial services storefront and entry points, a personal finance cabinet (aggregation of wallet balances, billing, installments), integrations with new external partners and internal Avito teams. This is a position for a third backend engineer.
Your responsibilities:
- develop and evolve the backend services of the financial marketplace using Go: the financial services storefront, entry points, personal finance cabinet;
- manage the full cycle: from refining a product hypothesis (together with the product manager) to deploying services;
- design and maintain integrations with external partners – financial service providers (RPC contracts, secure personal data transmission, fault tolerance);
- maintain the reliability of critical services (target SLI 99.9%): write unit and functional tests, participate in code reviews;
- disseminate best practices through internal communities and consultations.
We expect you to have:
- commercial experience working with Go, or another programming language and be ready to quickly learn Go;

- help the team set priorities in the backlog;
- analyze production incidents: find the root cause, assess technical risks, and propose preventive measures.
It would be great if you:
- can decompose business requirements into functional and non-functional ones;
- have worked in Scrum teams and understand the purpose of such work organization;
