A vacancy for a module support engineer for PPRB modules is open in the Sberbank PJSC support team.
Sberbank is building a modern technological Platform, on which all the services that the Bank provides to its clients already operate or will operate in the near future. The Platform is a high-tech solution – a set of fundamental IT services that, depending on their needs, can be used by tribes to bring new products and services to market.
This set of Platform services addresses data storage, user authorization and authentication, provides auditing, logging, and transport for interaction between various subsystems within the Platform, ensures user interface visualization, the possibility of orchestrating business processes, and much more.
Responsibilities
- Java E2E based applications, scripting languages (Bash, Python), Unix-like operating systems (RedHat, CentOS)
- message queues (Apache Kafka, ZeroMQ, Zookeeper)
- application servers (WildFly)
- storage systems (Apache Ignite, Hadoop, PostgreSQL)
- devOps (Jenkins, Git, Ansible)
- monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana)
- cloud technologies, virtualization systems (OpenStack, Kubernets, Docker).
Requirements
- higher education (preferably technical in IT)
- work experience in conditions of high uncertainty, tight deadlines, and a large number of tasks
- developed communication and organizational skills. Ability to negotiate
- basic Linux knowledge (familiar with the operating system, knows basic command-line commands)
- basic SQL knowledge (familiarity with analytical queries)
- knowledge of how Java applications work. Basic understanding of application servers (websphere, OracleAS, WildFly). Basic understanding of web servers (e.g., nginx)
- basic understanding of databases, understanding of SQL syntax, writing simple queries, and experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence products
Will be a plus:
- awareness/knowledge of technologies used in modern information systems (distributed systems; client-server, three-tier systems; IMDG; message queues; modern DevOps practices)
- knowledge of the PPRB architecture is highly welcomed.
